Patina and Lace, a wonderful Etsy shop, sent me two of the most beautiful cuff bracelets in the world. It pretty much looks like I went deep sea diving and pulled these babies straight out of a sunken chest. Believable, right? Totes.

Kathleen, the mastermind behind Patina and Lace, specializes in belly dance, ballet, and, of course, mermaid accessories and couture. Every piece is beautifully handmade. Some items even mix vintage pieces with new items to create wearable art that is most definitively one of a kind.

No two of the items are alike. Even the process to make one of the cuff bracelets takes some time. They have to be  painted, then wait for the verdigris to grow, and then the verdigris has to be painted. If you have to Google "verdigris" like I did, it's totally okay.
