Pumpkin Cheese Ball

Stopping in real quick to share a fun recipe that will be perfect for the Thanksgiving day table. I made this pumpkin cheese ball last year for Halloween, but forgot to post it both last year and this year. Opps. What can you do? I thought it could still work for Thanksgiving. Because, pumpkins.

Pumpkin Cheese Ball
|| ingredients ||
2 tsp Butter
2 tbsp chopped fresh Garlic
1 tsp Sugar
1 (8-ounce) package of softened Cream Cheese
1/4 cup softened Butter
8 ounces (2 cups) shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup chopped Green Onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup finely crushed Cheese Nips
1 medium bell pepper with stem
Fresh cut-up vegetables or crackers to dip

- Melt 2 teaspoons butter in skillet. Add garlic and sugar. Saute garlic over medium heat until garlic starts to brown. Remove from heat.

- Combine garlic mixture, cream cheese, 1/4 cup softened butter, 8 ounces cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup chopped green onion, and 1/4 tsp salt together in a bowl. Mix well. Form mixture into a ball.

- Pour Cheese Nips into a ziplock and crush. Pour crushed crackers into a large shallow bowl or plate. Roll the cheese ball into the crackers and press to coat. Place the ball onto a serving plate.

- Cut out the stem from the bell pepper. Place it on top of the ball.

- Serve with crackers and vegetables. And done.

Fireplace Megastore

Whelp. This is our last Monday in our current home. It's super bittersweet. The majority of me is ready to kiss this place good bye. See you NEVER tiny windowless apartment. But there is a little part of me that is sad. We have lived here for three years. And it's been a super long, but extremely fast (curse you time) three years. This is the only home Adrienne knows. She had most of her firsts here. Her first word (Dada), her first birthday, and her first steps at 15 months old (she was fat) were all in this apartment. It's been home. It's been fun. It's been real.

So, now we are moving into a much bigger home. Complete with a fireplace! Oh, the little things. Which brings me to the main reason of this post. Just like I've never been to Disney World, I've never had a fireplace. What can I say? I've been deprived. Well, William does always put a nice crackling fireplace video on the flat screen during Christmas morning. Does that count? Nah. Not really.

That's where Fireplace Megastore comes into play. They offer a wide range of traditional or modern electric fireplaces and balanced flue gas fireplaces. Plus, their prices are super competitive!

Fireplace Megastore is your one stop shop for everything needed to roast a bag of marshmallows. With their website being so extremely easy to navigate, the only hard part would be deciding which fireplace to go with.

Sugarboo & Co. Giveaway [OVER]

This giveaway is now OVER. Congrats Rebecca T.! You have won a platter and bowl set from Sugarboo & Co.!

Happy Monday, guys! It's a brand new week and to celebrate, I'm having a giveaway! I've teamed up with Sugarboo & Co. this week. This company sure knows how to pull at my heart strings. Their shop, located in Roswell, Georgia, is covered floor to ceiling in gifts. From gorgeous woven baskets, to antique signs, to a collection of pillows, this store has it all. I need to hurry up and visit my in-laws in Georgia so I can open-mouth breathe in their wonderland of a store. Because. Wow.

Out of all the amazing items Sugarboo has to offer, my absolute favorite are their ceramic dishes. They are handmade in their studio by using vintage lace to hand stamp each bowl and plate! So, not one piece is the same! I have a complete weakness for servingware. If you ask William, he'd most likely say it was more of a problem. This is where #sorrynotsorry makes perfect sense.

These dishes are gorgeous. They come in six different hues. I've had a hard time telling which color my dishes are. I'm thinking they are turquoise. And the platter is sky blue. I'm in love with all the colors. It's hard to even choose. And what makes these dishes even more amazing? They are even appropriate for everyday use! Dishwasher safe? Yup. I pretty much want a complete set. Hint, hint, hint.

Okay, now for the giveaway! If you guessed that one lucky reader will win a gorgeous platter and a small bowl in their choice of color from Sugarboo & Co. you'd be so right.
