Fairytale Jubilee and American Made

Fairytale Jubilee is very dear to me. Alisha Collins, the mastermind behind the extraordinary costume shop, sent Adrienne the most beautiful princess dress in the whole wide world, a while back. The dress I chose was an already made, one-of-a-kind, gown in a size 8, which was way too big at the time. Adrienne is finally a 6t now (where has the time gone?), and I'm anxiously waiting for her to fit into it for photos. I couldn't bare for it to be hidden away in her closet, so it's been hanging on Adrienne's wall in her room, like the piece of art that it is. And believe me, anytime someone new comes over and sees her room, that's the first thing they gasp over.

Fairytale Jubilee's dresses are incredible. Here are few of my favorites from her shop:

Andplusalso, Fairytale Jubilee, has just been chosen as a 2014 American Made finalist by Martha Stewart and her panel of judges. American Made is contest that showcases up and coming businesses that handcraft amazing goods. All of the contestants make their products here in America.

I mean, I die from the cuteness of that child. ::high fives, kid:: Adrienne is also wearing a flowered headband that we made, sunglasses from Urban Outfitters, and her shoes are from Old Navy.

Happy Monday, guys! It's a brand new week and to celebrate, I'm having a giveaway! I've teamed up with Sugarboo & Co. this week. This company sure knows how to pull at my heart strings. Their shop, located in Roswell, Georgia, is covered floor to ceiling in gifts. From gorgeous woven baskets, to antique signs, to a collection of pillows, this store has it all. I need to hurry up and visit my in-laws in Georgia so I can open-mouth breathe in their wonderland of a store. Because. Wow.

Out of all the amazing items Sugarboo has to offer, my absolute favorite are their ceramic dishes. They are handmade in their studio by using vintage lace to hand stamp each bowl and plate! So, not one piece is the same! I have a complete weakness for servingware. If you ask William, he'd most likely say it was more of a problem. This is where #sorrynotsorry makes perfect sense.

These dishes are gorgeous. They come in six different hues. I've had a hard time telling which color my dishes are. I'm thinking they are turquoise. And the platter is sky blue. I'm in love with all the colors. It's hard to even choose. And what makes these dishes even more amazing? They are even appropriate for everyday use! Dishwasher safe? Yup. I pretty much want a complete set. Hint, hint, hint.

My baby blog's 2nd birthday was Saturday! Whoa! I can't believe I've been blogging for only two years. It feels like a flippin' decade. I've met so many wonderful blogging frands, teamed up with the most amazing companies, and have read so many beautiful comments from readers.

It's really been wonderful. It really has.

I created this blog to express my feelings and just to have something to do while dealing with William being in a band, touring all over. I was alone most of the time back then, and being a stay at home mommy to an almost two year old didn't cut it in the creativity department. I needed more.

So, instead of getting crafty with oil pants and, um, pipe cleaners for an almost toddler, I decided to do something less messy. I started a blog. I had no idea where I wanted to go with it. I had no idea I'd even have readers. I just knew I wanted to be passionate about something.

And now, two years later, I'm even more passionate about this blog.

Thanks for allowing me to have a huge platform to express my thoughts and promote what I love. In return, I'm giving you guys the biggest giveaway Coffee and Cashmere has ever had. I have never done a group giveaway before. But turning two is huge. I'm out of infancy and this blog is walking and talking up a storm.
