Panera Bread Giveaway

Sammie shops are my jam. I love the pungent fresh baked bread smell, I love the customization, and I love the price. Although, I don't really frequent the sub and sammie shops here. Except a few choice locally owned ones. But, hold the phone! We are about to get a Panera Bread. Oh. Yes. It's about to be on.

Many people think Panera Bread is only a bakery. It's a lot more than that. They serve many delicious breakfast items, such as the nommy Baked Egg Soufflés. They have pastries galour and yummy fresh brewed coffee. They even offer 15 different bread types and 11 different bagel types, so combinations? They have them. They also offer salads, soups, and of course some delicious sammies. My favorite would have to be the Steak & White Cheddar or the Roasted Turkey Artichoke. Oh mane. My stomach is growling at the thought of those.

All in all, Panera Bread is a fantastic choice when you are hungry. This place is fast and friendly, plus they take pride in offering healthy choices instead of just plain dumb ones like fast food joints. That's what it's really about. Take care of your bodies people!

I also wanted to point out Panera Bread's Eat Smart game. Here's a little info:

"You’ll hear a lot of things dining at a Panera Bread bakery-cafe, but “stop playing with your food” isn’t one of them. Panera has just introduced Panera Eat Smarts, an online game with multiple interactive challenges designed to help consumers make smarter decisions about the foods they eat—both at home and while dining out.

Panera Eat Smarts invites players to complete 15 different challenges on three levels. As you progress, you soon realize that, aside from the fun, you’re learning about nutrition and how to make smart food choices. For example, in the Rate Your Plate challenge, players drag food items onto a plate to create a balanced meal and then evaluate based on USDA’s MyPlate. Other challenges involve matching key nutrients to certain foods, how to dine out smart, and comparing foods with their recommended portion sizes. Players are sharing all sorts of tips and recipes on Twitter with the hashtag #PaneraEatSmarts"

My Habit of Guilt

Today consisted of taking all the Christmas decor down. What a task that was. I am glad to have the house back sans all the tinsel strands. They seemed to be everywhere.

I got an email from Amazon a few weeks ago letting me know about their new fashion website called MyHabit. It is the same idea as Guilt, where designer items are being sold for a limited time at a fraction of the original cost. I have gotten some good deals on Guilt. So, I assume I'll get some use out of MyHabit. Come to think of it, I have some Amazon gift cards. I wonder if I can use them on MyHabit. Niiiiice. I just checked. I can. Okay, time to shop.
