Every man needs a new spiffy tie in their life. And Valentine's day is the perfect time to give him one. Hello fancy dinner date! Nice to see you again.

Oreo Bites

Do you have to make a treat the night before the Valentine's party at your kiddo's school? Whip these up. They're super easy and melt in your mouth-parts delicious. Add a little sea salt to some of them for an extra touch of yum. Plus, they look fancy. Just try to save them for the actual party.

Oreo Bites

|| ingredients ||

1 bag Bite Size Oreos

3 tubs of Baker's Dipping Chocolate or Melting Chocolates

Sea Salt

- Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

- Follow the directions on the tub of dipping chocolate. You basically put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. When it's fully melted, put a few of the Oreo cookies in and give it a good stir. Get a pair of tongs and take the chocolate covered Oreos out and place them on the cookie sheet. Don't leave the Oreo cookies in the chocolate too long. They tend to melt.

- Sprinkle sea salt on every 6 or so Oreos.

- Done.

Breaking away from sipping on my morning afternoon (don't judge) cup of coffee and watching Yo Gabba Gabba with the kiddo are hard things to do, but they need to be done. Why, you ask? These are pretty key things that every creative person needs stashed in their handbag/briefcase/manpurse/whathaveyou. You know, for those juicy tidbits that need to be jotted down.

The amazing company also sent me a beautiful silk scarf and an extremely lovely vanilla scented candle. Ooo la la.

Besides Nus & Lon's beautiful items, what else makes them so special? They also donate a portion of their proceeds to different non-profit organizations that help give art supplies to children in underdeveloped communities. And that is so awesome. I'm a huge advocate of art and music being taught to kids. Little brains need that creativity for growth.
