If you are anything like me, knowing what to get a soon to be mother at a baby shower is pretty easy. You get them onesies, gowns, footies, those types of things. In pastel pinks for girls and light blues for boys. No brainers. 

What about those parents who wait until birth to find out the gender of the baby? What? You are going to wait?! I couldn't even wait to get my Magic Nursery Dolls home to put the strange little dissolving gown in water. I was ripping the packet open in the car to find out if it was a boy or girl. Little girl! Whoo-boy!!

Twenty years later, when the real baby was in my tummy, I had to find out as soon as they were allowed to tell me. I needed to know these things. I was beyond thrilled to be able to get pink clothes and decor. Real talk. If we have a boy with our second pregnancy, our third go 'round would totes be a surprise. But, what am I even saying? I can't imagine more kids at all right now. One is plenty.
