Yogi Clothing Giveaway CLOSED

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED. Congrats Rachel M. for winning!! You should have already received an email.

It's time for another weekly dose of giveaways. Well, giveaway singular. Hey now. Beggars can't be choosers. I mean they technically can, but who's counting.

I rarely exercise. I'm not even going to front. I do get excited about watching the kiddo attempt hula hooping on the Wii Fit. I usually give it a go 'round after I laugh at her, but then I get upset that I can't keep the hoop up either. So, I turn it off. Sorry kid. Your mama is a sore sport. And that's the extent of my work out.

Yoga, on the other hand, is more up to my speed. I try to practice the downward dog and tree pose on occasion. I'm mos def not one of those hip, yogi moms. You know the ones that are all like, "I just dropped the kid of at preschool. Aweeee, I can't get my manicure right now. I'm about to get a skinny latte and go to my Yoga class. Mehh. My life is hard." I would like to take a yoga class, though.

When Yogi Clothing, a yoga clothing company (natch), contacted me about reviewing some of their clothes, I was all like, um, YES, because I love new duds, but um, I don't really do yoga. They gave me a chance anyways and probably hoped these new yoga clothes would propel me into the yogi universe. Namaste.

I picked out a striped maxi skirt and a double layered cardigan from the oodles of Yogi Clothing. Both of these guys could seamlessly transition from yoga class into shopping around town wear, which is perfect for any busy mom. I love maxi skirts. I usually wear them as strapless dresses in the summer. You could even add a belt to jazz it up for a night out on the town. And that cardigan? I've worn it daily the past week. It's so comfortable and it has the softness.

Here is how'd I'd wear these two clothing items...

Make sure you check out Yogi Clothing for not only yoga clothing but for super comfortable active wear. They also have a FACEBOOK page and PINTEREST page where they offer many different healthy food recipes, tips, and contests!

Are you ready for the giveaway?! One lucky Coffee and Cashmere reader will win the double layered cardigan for their very own! Get ready for this jacket to be glued to your back. Mama May I

Adrienne is ahead of the game. I'm not even being biased. Her pediatrician said that she is way beyond a four year comprehension level. And she just turned three. She can count to twenty in Spanish, counts to fifty in English, recites and can also write out her ABC's, can spell and write her name, and knows where she lives. And she is a boss at the Subway Surfers app. Those are just a few of the things off the top of my head. Just give me the teacher of the year award now.

I couldn't really accept that trophy, though. I haven't even begun to actually "teach" her. She has basically picked up those things by herself. I have never ingrained anything. I focus more on fun. Like spelling her name out in a song. Or drawing pictures with letters. Being three should be all rainbows and unicorns. All. the. time. Okay. It really isn't. It's sunshine and glitter, like, less than half of the time. The other half deals with tantrums. And time outs. And lots of wine for me.

Since we are talking about schoolin' kids, let's talk about toys that teach. Mama May i, a company who specializes in learning toys, sent Adrienne a Chick A Dee play set. I am totally big on wooden toys. If you are an avid reader of my blog, you know that. I love how simplistic wooden toys are, but can hold a child's imagination longer than a plastic toy that yaps. Amiright or am I right? Right.

My child literally played with this bird and his bowl of eggs for an hour straight. The first thing she did was get her Little People fairy playhouse out, because it had a tree for the bird to nest in. Makes since. See? My kid is a genius. Then she hid the little eggs around the house and made the grown up kids, aka her parents, find them. If I would have known a little stuffed bird and wooden eggs would keep her so entertained, I'd have gotten some sooner. The more you know. I guess.

Mama May i has so many colorful wooden toys to choose from. Like this Fairy Friends set, which comes in all the different colors of the rainbow. How adorable is that? We adopt fairies on the reg and are always on the look out for new fairy habitats.

If you like the concept of Montessori teaching, you will love Mama May i. If you'd like to purchase any of these durable handmade toys, make sure to use the coupon code that's specially for Coffee and Cashmere readers. That's YOU. Enter CANDC at checkout for 15% off your total purchase (excluding shipping).

Now you really don't have any excuse not to do some online shopping. Get your Valentine's and Easter stuffers in one swoop or kill two birds with one stone.

Those puns were totes intended.

Groundhog's Day

Ole Philly boy didn't see his shadow. That supposedly means spring is around the corner. Fist pounds and high fives and an AMEN for good measure. Because YES. YES PLEASE.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm more than ready. I'm tired of the rainy, windy, pine-needly, overcasted, cold weather. I need to feel some vitamin d on my face. So, cheers to you Phil. Just don't let me down.

Adrienne is wearing a Head Candy crocheted poncho, Calvin Klein jeans, and ladybug rain boots.
