Guys! I'm super duper excited about my brand new giveaway today! I'm giving one lucky Coffee and Cashmere reader a gift certificate to The Mint Julep!

The Mint Julep is an awesome online clothing store that has tons of amazing clothes. They offer dresses, tops, bottoms, shoes, maternity, jewelry, and PURSES. The latter being my weakness. I can't stress this enough: I love a great bag. I've shunned away from cheaper made purses as I've gotten older and usually only go for genuine leather. I know. PETA, animal lovers, whateves, sorry, not sorry.

So, when I saw this gorgeous suede leather bag, I knew she had to be mine. This is such a beautiful purse. The suede is very soft and makes the bag extremely slouchy for the perfect grab and go look. And the gold chain makes it both classic and edgy at the same time! The chain is pretty long, which is perfect if you'd like to wear this bag cross body. But I ran the chain back through one of the side hoops to make it a double chain shoulder bag. That way it makes it super comfy to carry.

And since all I carry with me at the moment is the biggest diaper bag ever, this purse is perfect for short outings. I can easily stuff one or two cloth diapers, a changing pad, wipes, and my wallet in it!

Bag Lady

Gosh, the weather here. Two days ago it was 50 degrees, today 70, and right now it's pouring rain and cold. Then tomorrow SNOW is on the forecast. I have such a sinus headache from all this change. I'll probably get full blown sick. That's my pessimistic approach. Thanks Mother Nature. I'll just buckle up and let the chips fall where they may. My optimistic approach. Same. Same. The changing season calls for a change of purses. Here's what I chose and the junk that dwells in it.

-Cynthia Rowely Wrapped Leather Handbag. Very lady-like. 

-Chapstick Cherry. I find these in the most random places.

-Lypsyl chapstick. Just got this stuff. It is made with pure beeswax. Hey-oh. It's very minty and smooth. I like it.

-Germ-X. You just never know when you want to fight off bacteria.

-Pampers Baby Wipes. I usually need them when they aren't with me.

-Louis Vuitton coin purse. Always.

-Ray-Ban sunglasses. Wayfarer. Classic

-Orbit Sweet Mint gum. Yum.

-Scunci Ouchless ponytail holders. Another newbie. They are jelly bands. Adore.

-Uni-Ball Vision fine point pink pen. I just think that color is the way to go when writing with flair. 

-Random notebook I found cleaning my bedroom. True saying on the front cover.

-My vintage Louis Vuitton planner. I go, it goes. 

-Georgia Theatre huggie. Some people call it a koozie. Coke, pop. Cart, buggy. It takes all to make the world go round.

Pink Ice Dream

One of my favorite notsoexpensive clothing websites is Pink Ice. Their stuff just lasts. I totes dislike it when you buy cheap clothes and four or five wears later they look like rags. I bought dresses four years ago from them that look great today. One, of which, I wear quite frequently. Another hook, line, and sinker is, when you order things from them, they give you Pink Ice Points. You get 5% added to your total to use next time. I have ten dollars in points that I need to use. Another reason to go buy something..

As things yawningly start off this morning, I stumble upon this awesome (huge emphasis on awesome) website that is sort of like Etsy. Except, it is FREE (another emphasis and caps were used)!!! They also let you customize your own store layout if you want to sell items and not blow your monies. Super legit. Stand down creepy Craigslist. I was browsing among the 8 thousand stores already open on the website and found that there are some amazing deals! Wide awake now. No nap for me!!

I have a thing for these lace rompers for babies. So cute. Could I please have one in my size to romp around in? No, not in public. This is from Fitzthum Boutique.

Purse Clutter

Or lack there of!!! I downsized and de-cluttered this past weekend! Yay me!

-Vintage Jay Herbert quilted leather bag. 

-My license, debit card, and money.

-Trusty Chapstick.

-Orbit peppermint gum.

-Chanel Double Perfection natural matte powder. Love this stuff. 

-Hippie perfume oil in "Rasta." It covers up stink so well. Allegedly. Reportedly. Alleportedly.

Whatchu got in that Bag?

As I was cleaning out my purse, I thought it would be a cool idea to blog about what is in there from week to week. Because, hey, even I wanna know. Plus, it might make me switch up my bags every now and then. So here we go. I's scared.. 

-My trusty Louis Vuitton Speedy 35. I go, it goes. The contents weren't as racy as I expected..
-Louis Vuitton toiletry pouch that I use as a coin purse.
-A pair of cheap sunglasses.
-Estee Lauder "Beyond Paradise" eau de parfum. Sophisticated, and it lasts throughout the day.
-Pixi energy blush in "No.2 Pick-Me-Up-Pink". It has two colors inside so, basically, a two for one!
-A clippie. Am I misspelling clippie?
-ChapStick Cherry. Classic. I am definiatly addicted to this stuff. A complete junkie.
-Random doll brush?
-Two pens, one being a Hello Kitty.
-Wine opener, which, I probably wouldn't be able to get the bottle open with this on my own.
-Juicy Fruit, not my fav.
-Lancome eyeliner in black coffee. Can't go out in public without mascara and this stuff.
-One of my daughter's bows. This is typical.
-Stretch Island Fruit Co. all natural fruit strip in summer strawberry. These are delish fruit chews. They have a 1/2 serving of fruit in each jaunt.
-Blackwater Music Festival all access pass. Because that is how I roll. If you haven't heard of the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL, click the links I provided for you.
-Yellow notepad. For my many lists. And my lists of lists.
-Chex Party Mix seasoning packet. What? It was free at the grocery store.
-Lone bobby pin.
-Three crumbled receipts and a coupon for oil that I need to use. I'll never be on Extreme Couponing. FML.
-Chanel Aqualumiere lipshine in "Waikik" and Covergirl Lipperfection in "Fairytale". Both are legit.
-Old school disposable camera via Kodak. Element of surprise.
-And last, but certainly not least, my charger for my camera. Thanks for all the charge you give, little buddy.

So, in a nutshell, I need to downsize my purse junk.
