Annie Britches Giveaway [CLOSED]

Congrats Lucy S. for winning a set of twenty wipes from Annie Britches! A big thanks to everyone who entered!

Since I'm due in one month (what the ever loving what?!), I thought it would only be appropriate to have a baby related giveaway. For this second baby, we have decided to cloth diaper. I haven't talked about cloth diapering at all on my blog, because, well, I know nothing about it yet. I do know that I love the idea of cloth diapers being on my baby's bottom rather than a nasty, chemical laced disposable diaper. And if I'm cloth diapering, I might as well use cloth wipes.

I scoured Etsy looking for the perfect cloth wipes and found Annie Britches. They offer eco-friendly wipes made from flannel. I immediately was drawn to the set of cassette print wipes. How cool are those? So, Annie Britches sent me that set and a down-right adorable set of whale printed wipes.

These wipes came packaged perfectly, like a little cloth gift. Each wipe is super soft and seems durable (granted I haven't used them, yet). I'll be using these babies soon enough, though! #ahhhhhhh

I've also teamed up with Annie Britches to offer one lucky Coffee and Cashmere reader the chance to win a set of 20 cloth wipes in the print of their choice. Be sure to scroll all the way down to enter the giveaway!

For your chance to win 20 cloth wipes in your choice of print from Annie Britches, just log into the Rafflecopter below (or make a new Rafflecopter account), and follow the directions for each entry. Please make sure to actually do what's required for each entry. If you just click enter and not do what it's asking, I'll know. If you are unsure how to do one, skip it and contact me. I can't stress this enough. I go back and check to make sure the winner actually did what was required. I will not let cheaters win. DON'T CHEAT. Meh.

Congrats Lucy S. for winning a set of twenty wipes from Annie Britches! A big thanks to everyone who entered!

This giveaway will end Monday, March 9th, 2015. One winner will be picked at random via Rafflecopter. The winner will receive a set of 20 cloth wipes in their choice of print from Annie Britches. The winner will be announced on coffeeandcashmere.com and will also be notified via email. The winner will have ONE week to respond to the email to claim their prize. If the winner never responds, a second winner will be picked at random.

A big thanks to Annie Britches for creating eco-friendly stuffs!

Congrats to M.J.M for winning my last great giveaway.

Weekend Wrap Up

Today starts a week of the hotness, sparklers, and BBQ. I'm fine with it. This will be Adrienne's first year to go watch the fireworks. I am super excited to see her reaction. Holidays are so magical when you are a kid or have a kid.

Last Friday we drove to meet family at William's grandmother's house. We love it there. She has a beautiful house out in the country. I enjoy the relaxation and good food there. Adrienne loves Grandmama's pool. She swam by herself for the first time! I didn't hold her once. She doggie paddled around with her water wings on like it was no big deal. She gets being a water baby from her daddy. I, on the other hand, am not a strong swimmer. I needs my life jackets. My child even jumped off the side of the pool into the water without being caught. She went underwater and popped right back up with a smile on her face each time. What was that, how did it happen, and how do I make it stop?

I had a moment of realization in the pool as I hovered around her like the over protective parent that I am. My baby isn't a baby anymore. She was telling me to move and to let her go. Really Adrienne? Let you go? You are two and a half. I will never let you go. You have a lifetime to get used to it. Real talk.

Then I look at the photos below and see such a beautiful child that is growing up. I look at photos of her last July, where she could just barely toddle around. Now I have a different looking July version of my child and hot dang if I don’t bawl. Tears are welling up in my eyes again while I type this ish out. Sorry to get all sentimental and debbie downs on you guys, but it's what I do.

Okay, wiping my tears. I'd rather sprinkle glitter and post beautiful pics over the blogosphere, than dish out sappy "my kid is growing up" stories. So, without further ado, here comes the sparkle:

We had an amazing weekend. We got to hang out with our wonderful fam, I made it through the 3 mile walk, we ate some deliciously greasy hamburgers afterward, and then came home. Success.

Weekly Wrap Ups

This weekend was a blast. Saturday consisted of beer, swimming, and grilling out.  We ventured over to a friend's house where we got our tans on and ate a ton of yummy foods. Adrienne  played with  choked some puppies (see pics below) and jumped on the trampoline. Oh, to be a kid again. We then came home, put the babeh to bed and had some alone time with candy, popcorn, and the movie Drive. The soundtrack was pretty killer. Plus, Ryan Gosling? Any reason to stare at him for an hour and a half is fine with me.

Father's day was a complete success. We did a whole lot of nothing. William slept in late, and I cooked a delicious lunch of breakfast foods. We watched movies with the kiddo and just enjoyed being a fam together.

Sorta switching gears to another topic I need to type about: I didn't realize I needed a degree in negotiating. It seems that I live with a tiny two year old terrorist. I hear that three year olds are much worse than two year old sized humans. I also hear Anderson Cooper is gay. I don't want to believe either.

I ask my child to pick up her ish, and it's like I have to bribe her a million times over. That's just to pick up her crayons. We haven't even gotten started on the rest of the mess. PICK UP YOUR TWENTY MY LITTLE PONIES BEFORE I THROW THEM IN THE GARBAGE WHERE THEY WILL LIVE FOREVER. Adrienne just looks at me like I've lost my non Dora loving mind. OKAY, PICK UP YOUR PONIES AND YOU WILL SAVE THEM FROM THEIR IMPENDING DOOM. No dice. Adrienne, pick up your stuff right now and you can have one skittle. She obeys, I win, she wins. No one got attacked. I'm a push over. Tell me something I don't know.

But then, she says stuffs like,
suppa rebby (supper's ready)
eagles (bagels)
tangy (candy)
out-tide (outside)
mouse (mouth)

I know. "I has tangy in my mouse," gets me every time.
Adorbs little terrorist.

Here are a few recent pics. Enjoy.

New library books and cold Thai salad with ginger shrimpie salad for the wins. Adrienne's swimmie is Penelope Mack, my shoes are Givenchy, and above is a Dollar Tree please can I has it.

Winsome Words Wednesday

What a day this one was. After going to three stores with a two year old sans her nap, we get locked out of the house by that same two year old. We were getting groceries from the car, and she locks the dead bolt. Fun times. We finally got her to understand to turn the yellow thing. It's pretty laughable now.

Parents of the year award goes to... USSS!! I knew 2o12 would be a special one. I would like to thank all the other parents that tried so hard and failed. I would like to thank my little fashion queen for always keeping us in check. As I brought her in from playing outside yesterday (cause it was getting dark, ya know?), she threw the biggest fit. I told William that she was being bad. He looks at her and asks, "What's wrong?" She says with the biggest pout ever, "Mama mean."

So, yea, keeping us in check like that.
And, I would also like to thank myself. I wouldn't have gotten this award if not for being so totally awesome.
