Acorn Cookies

Super easy and kid friendly Thanksgiving dessert? I found one. Acorn cookies. Bam. Last year I went a little cray on the Thanksgiving treats as you read in yesterday's post. Those turkeys were time consuming and wouldn't even stay up. Meh. Live and learn.

I made these Acorn cookies for an early Thanksgiving feast we had at my dad's. They were a slam dunk at the dinner. And looked pretty, too! Wins all around. Here are the deets on these little guys. Ready. Go.

Acorn Cookies
|| ingredients ||
1 Bag of Butterscotch Morsels
1 Bag of Hersey's Kisses
1 Box of Mini Vanilla Wafers
1 Tub of Chocolate Frosting

- Unwrap Hershey's Kisses (kid's part). Using the chocolate frosting, glue the bottom of a Hershey's Kiss to the bottom of a mini vanilla wafer. Repeat until the whole bag of Kisses are done. I popped them in the fridge to let the chocolate glue harden.

- After about ten minutes, I took them out of the fridge and chocolate glued the butterscotch morsels to the tops of the wafers. Refrigerate until the chocolate is hardened again. And done.
