Last Week's Wrap Up

COOKOUT

We had a cook out with the neighbors. It was such a beautiful afternoon. Spring is definitely here.

CUTENESS

Frog backpack that T.T. gave Adrienne. My child sweats Dora. She has to wear her backpack, backpack! backpack, backpack! yeah! (you know this jingle if you have little ones) the whole time it's on. I promised myself I would never let my kids watch that show. I obviously don't wear the pants in the house anymore.

COOKIES

Oreo turns 100 years old. 

 FOOD

Etouffee with steak, chicken, shrimp, and sausage. Yus. It was delish.

ICE CREAM

Mini drummie for eating all her supper.

Sidewalk chalk for days.

HAPPY

In her elements. Drawing, while being outside. Dress is from Walmart. Shoes are Carter's. Vintage baby sunglasses are by Coppertone.

Nothing gets my little fashion queen more excited. The simple things. Polka Dot shirt is from Target. Brown pants are from Gap. Knit sweater is Gymboree.

DESSERTS

It really looks like we eat nothing but sweets all day, every day. We don't. We usually eat (kinda) healthy. This past week we just had a few too many parties. Plus, you only live once. So, we indulge every now and then. Oreo balls for a bridal shower. See my recipe here. I drizzled the white chocolate over the balls, instead of dipping them. I like this way much better.

FRUIT

These were omigosh melt in your mouth outrageously yumholas. Whipped cream cheese filled strawberries with a crushed Graham cracker topping. Wowzers.

MUSIC

Nothing like a little time on the ivories. Gingham outfit is from Mudpie.
