All Eyez on Me

So, I woke up this morning to a still sick child. I chirped last week saying she's only been sick once in her little life. I guess I didn't knock on wood hard enough. She is pitiful. Whinny and cuddly. The latter I love. She doesn't have an appetite, but we are drinking fluids. Just winging it.

And then, after trying to console my sickling, I look on Facebook to see a majillion posts about the Tupac Resurrection at Coachella. Hold the phone. What the what?! I watch the video of him and Snoop. I get chills and then tear up at the end. William walks in, and I ask if he's seen the video of Tupac this morning. He hadn't. I start bawling and tell him that I just miss Tupac so much. Like legitimately crying over a rapper I've never met. What a day this has started out to be.

So, while I'm still sipping on my hot cup of denial (Tupac is alive) here's a recipe for an amazing body scrub. It leaves your skin so moisturized. And the smell is subtle. Not overbearing. I've gifted this stuff a few times, and it's gotten rave reviews.

Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Scrub
Ingredients:
2 cups Brown Sugar
1 cup Granulated Sugar (white sugar)
1 cup Sunflower Oil (olive oil or essential oils as well)
1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon Almond Extract
1 small Jar (wide opening to fit your hand inside)
Ribbon, Tulle, Tags

- Really simple directions. Mix all the ingredients together. The first go around I used sunflower oil. I don't exactly like the stronger smell of that oil. So, the second time I used EVOO. I also added more extracts until the smell suited my nostrils.

- TIP: To keep your brown sugar from hardening and/or clumping up, put a small handful of marshmallows in the brown sug bag or container. Works wonders.

Here is the video that did me in this morning. RIP Tupac.
